Q: Do you need to purchase additional patterns to get started with?
A: No. The curriculum uses the free patterns and tutorials available from aleksandrajones.
Q: Do I need any additional tools or resources?
A: In addition to having a sewing machine you'll need to have a basic sewing kit which includes a needle, thread, scissors, seam ripper, and pins.
Q. What happens after I buy?
A. You will receive the download links instantly to download or stream your videos. The files are large - about 900MB each. It is recommended that you download and save the files for watching offline. Streaming the videos may not work well if you have a poor/slower internet connection or data limits.

Beautiful course, great for beginners!
I think it would be extremely suitable for new beginners. It was very clear and explained everything. It was a really good review for someone who had not done any sewing for about 20 years. I had completely forgotten about sewing on curves and clipping.
excellent for beginners and a good refresher course for those of us who haven't used their sewing skills in a very long time.
It's wonderful, I'm teaching my 9 year old Granddaughter to sewing and she is loving making things for her AG dolls.
Sewing Academy is great! I expected it to be great coming from LJC but it was greater than expected. I used it this summer with my 2 granddaughters (12 and 8 yrs. old) and they loved Cinnamon. They worked from the videos and then they tried doing something to review what was on the video. Thanks.
